Announcing Kavi Gupta Gallery in Leipzig, Germany

Kavi Gupta Gallery is excited to announce the opening of a new exhibition space in Leipzig, Germany. Kavi Gupta Gallery / Leipzig is located in a two-level space between Eigen+Art and Galerie Dogenhaus in the beautiful 19th century brick buildings of the Spinnerei. The Spinnerei is a former cotton mill in a sprawling 23 building complex now turned cultural and creative hub housing many well-known contemporary art galleries and over 70 artist studios which has defined the Spinnerei as the home of the New Leipzig School of painting.

Kavi Gupta Gallery / Leipzig will inaugurate its new space with two solo exhibitions by Chicago-based artists Danielle Gustafson-Sundell and Sarah Nesbit. Gustafson-Sundell’s installation it’s midnight and I’m lonely, which just closed in Chicago, will be opening on the first floor, and a new series of paintings by Sarah Nesbit will be exhibited in the second floor space.

The opening of the space will be on September 15 coinciding with the Spinnerei’s autumn “Rundgang”.
